Humanistic Counsellor

Abi is a Humanistic Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.

Abi has over 4 years’ experience of working with clients that bring a range of issues from Anxiety and Depression, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, asylum and immigration issues and sexuality/questioning/gender identity issues. Abi has experience of working with clients that identify as LGBTQIA through volunteering at an LGBT+ counselling service.

Abi has previously worked for a mental health charity in East London that supports clients diagnosed with long term mental health conditions such as Schizophrenia and Personality Disorders and she supported these individuals in their day-to-day lives. She also works a charity Counselling service as a Service Coorindator.

Abi believes in offering a non-judgmental, open and honest space for clients to explore themselves and their issues as well as offering empathy which she believes are integral to helping clients gain self-awareness, make positive changes and become their better selves. Abi’s approach is tailored to you as an individual but founded on the Core Values of Person-Centred work.
